Christmas Eve Family Services
Worship times at 3:00, 4:00, 5:00, 7:00 and 8:00 pm
As our weary world rejoices this season with the advent of a COVID vaccine, the Christian world rejoices in this season at the birth of the Christ child.
We have five in-person options for Christmas Eve Worship, outdoors at 3:00, 4:00, 5:00, 7:00, and 8:00 pm on the front lawn at Faith. These services will be brief, approximately twenty minutes, but full of the spirit of Christmas worship. Candles and handwarmers WILL be provided…dress warmly! The services will be weather dependent, with a temperature and precipitation threshold. The services will start with a maximum of fifty worshippers at each service and there will be a waitlist. Masks will be required and distancing will be enforced. Other safety requirements will follow the pattern of our summer worship, which showed us we CAN worship together safely and joyfully outdoors!
In addition to in-person worship, a traditional Christmas Eve service will be available to view the afternoon of December 24th. This service will have special music, communion, and a Christmas message.

What do I need to know for Outdoor worship?
- Reserve your spot for worship! We have a capacity limit, so preregistration of the number of people in your group is required to attend. Once you reserve your spot for worship you will also receive notification of any weather related cancellations. If weather looks questionable, be sure to check your email.
- Outdoor worship is weather-dependent, a temperature and precipitation threshold.
- Worship will be on the front lawn. You can park in the parking lot and walk to the lawn by continuing outside around either end of the building. Bathrooms will be open for emergency need only. We ask that you observe social distancing once you are on the property, once again saying hello to our friends while leaving distance in between.
- An online option of worship will be offered! For many this will continue to be the safest option if you are in a high health risk category or if you are sick in any way. Services will be posted Christmas Eve to Faith’s YouTube site. You can subscribe to Faith’s YouTube Channel here for earliest possible access to this service.
