During the time of COVID-19, what is going on in Faith’s Music Ministry?
Joyful Noise is Faith’s Music Ministry for Children. There are two choirs, Good News (Grades K-2) and New Song (Grades 3 through 6.) This fall will begin with a completely new online program called Keep on Singing from Growing in Grace, a curriculum created by The Choristers Guild. Joyful Noise is for all children ages K through 6th grade.
Sanctuary Choir and Praise Band will begin online in the fall using a new program for online groups developed by the American Choral Directors Association called My Choral Coach. This program is great for learning how to sing well, read music and possibly add your voice to any virtual choirs that may be developed. It’s fun and easy to do. Members of both groups are regularly called on to be song leaders or soloists in Faith’s Sunday morning worship.
Handbell Groups are on hold for now. Once back in session, both the Hallelujah Ringers and the Glory Ringers will be divided and will have 30-minute rehearsals.
