Music

Temporary updates during COVID Precautions:

During the time of Covid, what is going on in Faith’s Music Ministry?

Joyful Noise is Faith’s Music Ministry for Children. There are two choirs, Good News (Grades K-2) and New Song (Grades 3 through 6.) This fall will begin with a completely new online program called Keep on Singing from Growing in Grace, a curriculum created by The Choristers Guild. Joyful Noise is for all children ages K through 6th grade.

Sanctuary Choir and Praise Band will begin online in the fall using a new program for online groups developed by the American Choral Directors Association called My Choral Coach. This program is great for learning how to sing well, read music and possibly add your voice to any virtual choirs that may be developed. It’s fun and easy to do. Members of both groups are regularly called on to be song leaders or soloists in Faith’s Sunday morning worship.

Handbell Groups will meet this fall in small ensembles of four ringers each. Both the Hallelujah Ringers and the Glory Ringers will be divided and will have 30-minute rehearsals. Later in the fall, we will record the groups and insert those performances into the Sunday morning worship online service.

Song Leaders and Soloists, both vocal and instrumental are utilized in our Sunday morning worship.

Please contact Mr. Todd Carrico, Director of Music Ministry if you have questions or for more information at tcarrico@faithonline.org

Faith offers a wide variety of ways for musical gifts  to lead and support the congregational song.

The Music Ministry at Faith has a long history of excellence. Music deepens Faith's worship life as it provides energy, excitement, peacefulness, and calm at different moments through out the church year.
