Staff Retreat - January 6
The staff met at Geneva Lutheran Church for a day of Bible study, collegial affirmation and personal renewal.
Pastor Jim began with a Bible study focusing on a story of faith and trust in God: Mark 9:14-29
Each staff member was given an envelope with letters of affirmation and gratitude from the congregation. The letters were read during the quiet prayer time in the afternoon: some people prayed in the beautiful sanctuary, some walked the labyrinth while others wrote and drew in their journals.
At the end of the day each staff member was affirmed in their work by each other.
